Eton House is a delightful,traditional, farmhouse style property set within private and spacious wrap-around grounds. Sleeping up to 8 guests in 4 well-designed bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and a WC, this home is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a secluded and peaceful getaway that is still within easy reach of the coastline. Ticking all the right boxes with a wood burning stove for the winter months, off-road parking, enclosed gardens,and being dog and child friendly, what more could you possibly want!

Inside

This warm and welcoming family home has a traditional farmhouse style and is packed full of original furniture that the owners have collected over the years and re-purposed. Throughout the house the walls are filled with a collection of unique artworks and dotted around you will see the odd hint of the owner’s quirky collection of pigs.The spacious kitchen/diner is ideal for entertaining and celebratory meals together, while the sitting room and snug are the perfect places to sit back and relax and let all your trouble melt away. The four generous bedrooms provide a place of solitude for some pure R & R.

Outside

Set within stunning, private grounds, this traditional farmhouse boasts wonderful gardens for everyone to enjoy. Offering an abundance of space, the lovely, manicured gardens wrap around the house, and being enclosed (with the electric gate closed) it is perfectf or the children and dogs to explore safely.With a selection of areas on offer you can dine al fresco on the patio area while the children can have a separate football pitch, or they can build some dens in the wooded area.There is ample off-road parking on the gravel driveway for up to 5 cars.

Kitchen/Diner

The large farmhouse style kitchen isa warm and welcoming offering a space where and any cooks in the group will feel right at home.Fully equipped with everything you will need and more, including an AGA, separate electric oven and hob, dishwasher, large freestanding fridge freezer, microwave,and a Nespresso coffee machine (pods not provided).The dining area comfortably seats 8 guests around the large rustic dining table. There are also a couple of extra chairs if you need to squeeze in an extra guest or 2. The chairs and sideboard have been designed to bring in some coastal feel with their light blue colour.


Sitting Room

Adjoining the kitchen/diner is a large and traditional sitting room.This spacious room is bathed with natural light from the large panoramic window over-looking the beautiful garden.Thecosy wood burning stove is a wonderful feature of the room surrounded by a traditional club fender giving it a real stately feel. There are two large sofas and two armchairs to sink into while enjoying your favourite programmes or DVDs on the Smart TV.

Snug

For those wanting to separate away for some peace and quiet or to watch something different to the rest of the group, the snug is the perfect place, with two snuggly sofas and a large Smart TV.

Study

For anyone who needs a space to study or work while they are away, the study has a desk with chair,as well as another sofa. There is also a selection of children’s and family games stored here available for you to use.

Utility Room

The separate utility room houses an additional drinks fridge, washing machine and a dog crate. This room is also useful to use as a boot room with plenty of storage space for your muddy wellies and wax jackets.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Bedroom 1
Located on what is affectionately known as the‘west wing you will find a stylish king size bedroom with a freestanding chest of drawers and wall hanging space. Next door to the bedroom is an en suite shower room with a corner shower, WC, and wash hand basin.

Bedroom 2
With chic French styling, this twin-bedded room is furnished with 2 full size single beds,shelf storage and wall hanging space.

Family Bathroom
The spacious family bathroom is furnished with a bath with shower over, WC, handbasin and a heated towel rail. This bathroom services bedrooms 2 and 3.

Bedroom 3
This spacious and light room is furnished with a super king size bed (which is zip and link so can be split into twins upon request), a freestanding wardrobe, and a dressing table and chair.

Bedroom 4
The master bedroom is set overlooking the garden and surrounding fields beyond.Furnished with a comfy super king size bed, freestanding wardrobe, separate chest of drawers, and relaxed seating. This room also benefits from its own spacious en suite with a bath, separate walk-in shower, WC, hand basin, and a heated towel radiator.
