Set between the coastal villages of Holme and Thornham, you are very well positioned to explore the beautiful North Norfolk coast and are surrounded by renowned eateries and fine dining options. Alternatively, you can indulge in the peace and tranquillity that this secluded property affords. Offering accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 well-appointed ground floor bedrooms, an open plan living area which is perfect for socialising and entertaining, a star-lit snug/TV room, a large, enclosed garden and off-road parking, this stylish property really does tick all the right boxes. Oh, and your pampered pooch can come along too!

Inside

Cleverly designed using a variety of natural materials and textures, this modern home-away-from-home is the ideal place for bringing people together. The spacious open plan living area is great for entertaining and socialising, while the star-lit snug and mezzanine offer additional spaces for those wanting to enjoy their own pursuits while not missing out on all the action! The four well-appointed bedrooms are all on the ground floor, one of which has an en suite shower room while the others share use of the family bathroom.

Outside

The house sits centrally in its grounds, with a large lawn area that is perfect for letting the children roam, without them ever being too far from sight. Many a day or evening can be spent relaxing around the patio area, barbecuing or just enjoying a quiet moment in the privacy that the location provides. Please be aware that, while enclosed, that it is not fully secured and that we advise that dogs are supervised.

You also have ample off-road parking, with the addition of an oak-framed carport that provides cover for two more vehicles.

Kitchen & Living Area

Upon entry into this delightful property, you will find an entrance porch where you can kick off your shoes and hang up your coats before heading through to the main living area.

The open plan living area is a fabulous room offering ample space with a double vaulted ceiling and a stylish polished concrete floor. Made up of a kitchen, dining area and a relaxed seating area and a smart TV. In addition to this there is a lounge area set on the mezzanine.

The contemporary kitchen has a brushed copper look and is fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay. With 2 built-in ovens, integrated double-sided fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher, wine chiller, microwave, and Tassimo coffee machine. There is also a central island which houses the ceramic induction hob and doubles as a breakfast bar with 4 stools.

The dining area is set beside the bi-fold doors that lead onto the patio area in the rear garden. With a contemporary wooden block table and a combination of bench and chair seating, you can entertain up to 8 guests for gourmet sit down meal together.

Tucked in the corner there is a corner sofa providing some comfy relaxed seating that really completes this ground floor living area making it the social hub of the house.

Head up the attractive glass, steel, and oak staircase where you will find a lounge set on the mezzanine. With a large corner sofa, armchair and a Smart TV, this area is perfect for enjoying some relaxed reading time or watching your favourite TV show while still feeling integrated with the rest of your party.

Snug/TV Room

The snug/TV room has a unique feature of an LED starlit sky ceiling creating a special ambience and cosy atmosphere for some “Netflix and chill” time. Perfect for indulging in a movie night or allowing the kids to have their own area to enjoy. There are also French doors leading out onto the patio in the rear garden.

There are 4 well appointed bedrooms all set on the ground floor.

Bedroom 1

Furnished with a king size bed, freestanding wardrobe, separate chest of drawers and a Smart TV.

Family Bathroom

With a rustic, coastal theme, this room is equipped with a freestanding oval bath with hand-held shower attachment, WC and hand basin.

Bedroom 2

This twin-bedded room is furnished with 2 single beds and a freestanding chest of drawers.

Bedroom 3

This sophisticated bedroom comes complete with a double bed, freestanding wardrobe and separate chest of drawers.

Bedroom 4

The spacious master bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and is beautifully light and bright with French doors providing access directly into the garden. Furnished with a super king size bed, freestanding wardrobe, separate chest of drawers and an en suite complete with a walk-in rainfall shower and separate shower wand, hand basin and WC.

Thornham village sits in the North Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and visitors can enjoy excellent views of the coast from the chalk ridges that lie just inland, before descending onto the saltmarshes and beaches of the coastline. Thornham has an excellent array of pubs and restaurants as well as the shops, deli and famous fish and chips at Drove Orchards, which makes a great spot to visit and well worth dropping into as you meander down the coast.

'An enjoyable stay with some good weather. The house was very comfortable and clean and our two little grandsons enjoyed the garden. Everything we needed in the kitchen. We had some enjoyable meals at The Ship in Brancaster and The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe and our BBQ from Gurneys was excellent! We look forward to our return to Norfolk in December.'

'We enjoyed our stay very much in spite of the average weather - lovely when we left! The house was very comfortable. We enjoyed meals out, particularly by The Lifeboat at Thornham and No.29 at Burnham Market for Sunday lunch - perfect roasts. We had some good walks to the beach and along at Holme-Next-the-Sea and also from Holkham along the path to Wells, the shops, the beach and along the elevated path to Wells from centre. Norfolk is wonderful! A good place for all generations.'

'Had a great week. Lovely to have all the family together after lockdown. Enjoyed a meal at The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe, fish and chips from Eric's. Great beach for paddle boarding, lots of great runs for the younger members of the family and Winston the dog. Always find plenty to do in Norfolk for all ages.'
