Church House itself offers wonderful character, being part of the building that was once the Old Victoria House and formerly part of Nelson’s fathers estate. Tastefully staged and extremely comfortable, ideal for the a small family or a couple.
Kitchen & Lounge
The recently refurnished modern kitchen sympathetically blends with the age of the building joining past and present perfectly, complete with space to dine and natural light from the rear it is a great social area. The lounge has two sash front windows in keeping with the traditional facade this light, comfortable room is the heart of this wonderful retreat. A large TV and DVD player are also present. It provides the perfect backdrop to any cosy evening in or spent with family &/or friends.
Bedrooms & Bathroom
With a feature fire surround and the stunning sash window the master bedroom is flooded with natural light enveloping the King size bed and provides the comforts we all enjoy. Head through the kitchen to the rear of the property and the twin bedded room is the perfect haven for the kids (or adults) to enjoy during their stay with feature fire place and neutral tones throughout. The family bathroom is set on a slightly lower level to the rest of the property. This quirky but practical space is well thought out to encompass everything that modern life requires with stunning rainfall walk-in shower, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
This space houses all the modern conveniences for laundry purposes with velux style roof light and affords access to the rear private courtyard.
Located a few minutes from the coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Burnham Market is for many the jewel in North Norfolk’s crown. Set in the heart of the royal coast, this stunning Georgian village has a green surrounded by 18th century houses, shops, chic boutiques and The Hoste, one of the most popular places to eat and drink in North Norfolk and only a five minute walk from the cottage. With an abundance of small village shops including a butcher, fresh fish shop, green grocers, wine merchant and deli you are spoilt for choice.
All-weather tennis courts can be found an easy stroll away on the village playing field.
A short drive and you’ll discover the sailing harbours at Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe and the beaches and Royal West Norfolk Golf Course at Brancaster. Historic Holkham with its wonderful white sandy beach and Wells-next-the-Sea with its beach huts are a short drive away too.
