2 Holme Oak Cottages is a beautiful newly built property nestled in the heart of Thornham. Accommodating up to 10 guests, this family friendly house really does offer something for everyone! The open plan living area is a great social space for spending time with your loved ones, the stylish bedrooms offer a haven of relaxation and there is endless entertainment available, including a hot tub, table tennis table and you can while away the hours at “The Stagger Inn” where you have your own bar, pool table, dart board and more! If you do decide to leave the property then you are within walking distance of 3 well known eateries within the village and you can wander down to the harbour and beyond, to reach the wonderful sandy beach and dunes, which is one of Norfolk’s best kept secrets!

Set on the first and second floors, the four bedrooms on offer provide top quality luxury and a stylish space in which to relax and leave all your troubles behind. As if things couldn’t get even better, the garden undoubtably offers something for everyone with al fresco dining, sun loungers, a hot tub, and a table tennis table. You can also spend some time in “The Stagger Inn” which has a bar and drinks fridge that you can fill with your own choice of beverages, a dart board, pool table and more! This really is the perfect property for entertaining and spending quality time together with your friends and family!
Nestled in the heart of Thornham, you are within walking distance of the 3 well known eateries in the village, Thornham Deli, The Chequers Inn and The Orange Tree. Located on the outskirts of the village you also have the Drove Orchards complex where you will find a farm shop, Eric’s Fish and Chips, Eric’s Pizzas, Gurneys Fish Box, East Coast Gelato and more! Whilst in the village you can also walk to the harbour and then beyond to the secluded sandy beach which is one of Norfolk’s hidden treasures! If you want to venture further then you are well located to explore the wider North Norfolk Coast, either by car, foot, cycle or bus.
As soon as you enter this fabulous property you will feel comfortable and at home. Kick off your shoes, hang up your coats, pop the prosecco, sit back and relax in style!
Adjoining the entrance hall there is a utility/laundry room with a ceramic butler sink, a combined washing/drying machine and a ground floor WC.
The bright and spacious open plan living area is the real hub of the house and is a great social space in which to spend quality time with your loved ones. The large bifold doors look out over the garden and fill this room with natural light throughout the day. In the warmer months you can open the bifold doors and unify the interior and exterior spaces. There is also a selection of books and games available for you to use to provide some light family entertainment.
The stylish two-tone kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need during your stay including 2 built in ovens, a ceramic induction hob, double ceramic sink, dishwasher, integrated fridge freezer, separate under counter fridge, additional wine fridge, Microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, Cafetiere, kettle and toaster. The kitchen island also doubles as a breakfast bar lined with 3 stools.
The sophisticated dining area has a large extendable oak table with comfortable chairs seating up to 10 guests. This is a great place to entertain long into the evening while ensuring that the head chef doesn’t get left out while they are whipping up a storm in the kitchen!
The lounge area is furnished with a large corner sofa that you can sink into and a large Smart TV with Bose speaker system. There is also an additional seating area for 2 set around the wood burning stove in the corner of the room – ideal for sitting in front of the roaring fire while looking out over the garden and enjoying a good book and a glass of wine!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
There are 4 individually designed, stylish bedrooms set over the first and second floors of this property.
Bedroom 1: Located on the first floor, this elegant bunk bedroom is perfect for children! With bespoke hand-built bunk beds this room can sleep up to 4. Each individual bunk has its own night/reading light and a USB charging socket. There is also a cute children’s armchair, a hanging rail, chest of drawers and a wall-mounted Smart TV with an Amazon Fire TV stick. This room shares use of the en suite Jack and Jill bathroom.
Jack and Jill bathroom: This modern bathroom is equipped with a luxurious freestanding bath with bath board for your wine and smart tablet to enable a moment of pure indulgence! The bath has a hand-held shower attachment while there is also a separate walk-in shower with both rain and power shower options, a large hand basin, WC, heated towel radiator and drawer storage.
Bedroom 2: Set on the first floor, this spacious bedroom is furnished with a super king size bed (which is zip and link so can be split into twins upon request), a built-in wardrobe with hanging space and shelving, and shares use of the en suite Jack and Jill bathroom.

This room also has its own en suite with a large walk-in shower with both rain and power shower options, a large hand basin, WC, heated towel radiator and drawer storage.
Bedroom 4: Located up on the second floor is the master bedroom. This spacious room has been well furnished to provide a sumptuous super king size bed, a built-in wardrobe with hanging space and shelving, a freestanding chest of drawers, a dressing table with stool and mirror, and relaxed seating. This room also boasts its own en suite with a large walk-in shower with both rain and power shower options, a large hand basin, WC, heated towel radiator and drawer storage.
There is also a ground floor WC located just off the utility room.
The large garden is fully enclosed with wooden fencing and offers something for everyone! There is a good size lawn area, two patio areas each with a dining set seating up to 6 guests, 2 loungers for basking in the sun, and a Cosmo Grill gas BBQ for al fresco dining on a warm summer evening. The tall pine trees are befitting of the local area and a reminder of how closely located to the wild Norfolk coast you are. After a sandy day out at the beach or a long muddy walk, you can go straight round to the back garden and use the outdoor doggy shower to wash off your boots and paws before retiring indoors!
For ultimate entertainment there is also a hot tub to melt all your troubles away, an outdoor table tennis table and “The Stagger Inn” which houses a bar with drinks fridge for you to fill with your chosen beverages, dart board, pool table, giant Jenga, a selection of pub quiz games, and it is equipped with heaters for all year-round use!
To the front of the property there is a gravel driveway providing off-road parking for up to 3 cars including an electric car charging point.
