Located in the quiet village of Docking, Barbarella offers a very generous living/dining and kitchen area and three generous bedrooms with walk in wardrobes and lavish en suites. Whether you are planning a long, relaxing holiday or a short weekend break with family or friends celebrating special occasions, or simply to indulge and relax, this unique home will provide an unforgettable experience that is simply 5 star luxury! A perfect coastal escape being 5 minutes’ drive to Brancaster or Thornham beaches and close to Burnham Market which is rated among 20 of the most beautiful villages in the UK. Please be aware that Barbarella is not suitable for pets or children under 5 years of age.
Designed and created based on the iconic cult classic that is Barbarella! Using the dominant colours of hot pink, yellow and green, Starr Homes have done it again and created a property that is vibrant, characterful and truly unique!
Barbarella offers luxurious accommodation for up to 6 guests in 3 individually designed, en suite bedrooms. There is a spacious open plan living area that makes a great social space for your party to come together or to enjoy their individual pursuits while still being close. Outside to the front of the property there is a south facing patio area offering al fresco dining, and there are 2 allocated parking spaces as well as an electric car charging point.
This property is full of staging and vivid colours and truly showcases specialist work by renowned local artists. In addition to this, many of the pieces of furniture are bespoke, having been designed and made by their own inhouse team.
The striking open plan living area is the real hub of this house and provides a bright and spacious area in which to spend quality time with your friends and family. Comprising a kitchen, dining area and lounge this is the ideal social space where you can all be together yet enjoying your own pursuits. There is also 3 specially commissioned pieces of artwork that were created by a local artist using the iconic Barbarella colours, aptly named Odyssey 1, 2 and 3.
The Kitchen is very well equipped with a double oven, induction hob, integrated fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher, combined washer/dryer, microwave, and a Nespresso vertuo coffee machine (starter pods supplied).
The dining area comfortably seats up to 6 guests and features a unique, bespoke feature light which has been made from an original bird cage!
The lounge area is furnished with 2 original handmade sofas, 2 hand-crafted petal stools, a bespoke coffee table, cast iron electric wood burner, and a feature pendant light that has been created from an original bed canopy! There is also a Smart TV and sliding doors leading out to the rear of the property.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are 3 luxurious, individually designed bedrooms each with their own unique hand-crafted headboards! Each room also boasts its own en suite.
Bedroom 1 – Located on the ground floor, this bedroom features a king size bed, 2 walk-in wardrobes, a dressing table with chair and mirror and a Smart TV. There are also large sliding doors overlooking the front of the property and providing access straight onto the paved courtyard. Set adjacent to the room there is a shower room equipped with natural limestone tiles and features a walk-in rain effect shower with additional hand-held shower attachment, contemporary stone hand basin, WC and a heated towel radiator.
Bedroom 2 – The master bedroom is set on the first floor and is furnished with a super king size bed, walk-in wardrobe, dressing table with chair and a Smart TV. There is also an en suite bathroom decorated with natural limestone tiles and featuring a unique oval stone bath (with a handheld shower attachment), contemporary hand basin, WC, and heated towel radiator.
Bedroom 3 – Set on the first floor, this bedroom features twin single beds, a walk-in wardrobe, a dressing table with chair and mirror and a Smart TV. There is also an en suite shower room equipped with natural limestone tiles and features a walk-in rain effect shower with additional hand-held shower attachment, contemporary stone hand basin, WC and a heated towel radiator.
To the front of the property there is a private patio area which is south facing, meaning it gets the best of the sunlight all day long! Here you will find an outdoor dining table and chairs as well as a Kamado pizza oven/BBQ that can literally cook everything from jacket potatoes to joints of meat!
At the front of the property there are 2 off-road parking spaces set on the specially designed resin-bound driveway.
