The accommodation is set on one floor with an open plan living area, 3 bedrooms, 2 en suites and 1 family bathroom. There is also a pretty courtyard garden and off-road parking spaces for 2 cars. Located within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and picturesque quay, yet set in a private spot where you can retreat from the hustle and bustle of this vibrant town!
Set on the outskirts of Wells-next-the-Sea, Church Barn is tucked away in a quiet and private area away from the hustle and bustle that comes with this popular seaside destination. However, you are still within easy reach of all of the wonderful amenities that this town has to offer, including independent shops and boutiques, cafes, pubs and restaurants, tennis courts, arcades, an indoor children’s playland, the beautiful beach and of course it’s famous fish and chip shops! Whether you are a couple looking for a peaceful couples’ retreat, a group of friends looking for a weekend getaway, or wanting to spend quality time with the family, Church Barn has got you covered!
Having been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard and cleverly designed to combine modern living with charming original features, Church Barn offers an open plan living area, 3 lovely bedrooms all of which are serviced by their own bathrooms, a pretty courtyard garden and off-road parking for 2 cars.
The open plan living area is the perfect space for spending quality social time together whilst still being able to enjoy your own pursuits. The vaulted ceiling, Velux windows and bifold doors give this room a very light and spacious feel to it, while the exposed wooden beams give it some added character. Combined with the contemporary furnishing, this is a really lovely room in which to kick back and relax! In the summer you can pull the bifold doors right back and unify the interior and exterior spaces and take advantage to the warm summer sea air!
The comfortable lounge area has 2 sofas and an armchair as well as a Smart TV – ideal for some “Netflix and chill” time!
The dining area has a stylish dining table and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Set just adjacent to the kitchen area, it is perfect for entertaining while not leaving out the head chef of the group!
The kitchen area is very well-equipped with all you could possibly need during your stay, including an integrated fridge freezer, built-in oven, built-in microwave, induction hob, ceramic Belfast sink, and an integrated dishwasher.
The separate utility room is kitted out with a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink, for all your laundry needs, as well as additional cupboard storage space.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
There are 3 well-designed bedrooms all located on the ground floor and each serviced by their own bathroom.
Bedroom 1: Set just off the lounge, this well-proportioned room has a vaulted ceiling and is furnished with a super king size bed (which is zip and link so can also be made as twins upon request), a built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, additional under bed storage, and an en suite complete with a walk-in rainfall shower and additional power shower option, WC, hand basin, and a heated towel radiator.
Bedroom 2: The twin-bedded room has 2 small single beds (2ft 6”), freestanding chest of drawers as well as under bed storage, and is serviced by the family bathroom set opposite.
Family Bathroom: The contemporary styled family bathroom solely services the twin bedroom and comprises and bath with shower over, WC, hand basin and a heated towel radiator.
Bedroom 3: This stylish bedroom offers a king size bed, freestanding wardrobe and an en suite with a large walk-in rainfall shower with additional power shower option, WC, hand basin, and a heated towel radiator.
There is a lovely, paved courtyard garden that is fully enclosed to the side of the front of the property. The mosaic paving slabs are bordered by pretty flower beds and is a real sun trap throughout the day. There is a table and chairs to seat up to 6 guests and a charcoal BBQ and parasol, perfect for al fresco dining on a warm summers’ day! There is also an outdoor tap which is really useful to wash off your sandy toes and muddy boots after a day out exploring the best of North Norfolk.
There are 2 allocated off-road parking spaces for the property, one to the front of the property and another set to the side of the driveway as you approach the property, both of which are signposted.
