Offering four delightful bedrooms set over the first and second floors and ample living space on the ground floor, this property is an ideal place in which to gather your friends or family (and the dogs) and spend some quality time together!
Set in the village of Sedgeford, you are surrounded by stunning countryside views and are well positioned to enjoy walks along the Peddars Way and take in the abundance of wildlife that is right on your doorstep. Alternatively, take a short drive to the North Norfolk coast and head to the beautiful beaches at Heacham, Hunstanton, Holme-Next-the-Sea and Thornham. You are also within walking distance of the traditional country Inn – The King William IV – which is a great place to re-fuel after a busy day exploring!
Arriving at Field View, you are welcomed into the entrance hall where you will find a coat rack and space to tidily keep your shoes before heading on through the house. There is also a ground floor WC along the hallway.
The open plan kitchen/diner is a light and homely social area where you can gather your friends or family for a meal without the chef being left out of the festivities!
The modern slab fronted kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need during your stay, including a built-in oven and microwave, ceramic venting hob, integrated fridge-freezer, integrated dishwasher, integrated washer/dryer and Dulce Gusto coffee machine.
The dining area comfortably seats 8 guests around a large wooden table which is bathed in sunlight through the patio doors: ideal for opening up on a warm summers day and making the most of the fresh country air!
Set just off the dining room is the separate utility room where you will find a sink and the backdoor providing access to the rear garden.
The comfortable lounge offers ample seating for eight with a comfy corner sofa and separate two seater sofa, the large wall-mounted Smart TV and a Blu Ray DVD player. The perfect backdrop for a bit of “Netflix and chill” time! Alternatively, you can bask in the sunshine streaming through the patio doors and enjoy some quiet reading time.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
There are four spacious bedrooms set over the first and second floors, all of which have been individually designed and thoughtfully furnished.
Bedroom 1: Over-looking the rear garden and across the surrounding country fields, this room features a super king size bed, a sofa offering relaxed seating and a walk-in closet/dressing room. This room also boasts its very own en suite with a large bath, separate walk-in shower, WC, wash hand basin and a heated towel radiator.
Bedroom 2: This twin bedroom is well furnished with 2 single beds and a matching set of wardrobes and chest of drawers while providing lovely countryside views to the rear of the property.
Family Bathroom: Servicing bedrooms 2 and 3, the family bathroom comprises a bath with shower over, WC, wash hand basin and a heated towel radiator.
Bedroom 3: Located at the front of the property, this spacious room is well furnished with a king size bed and a matching set of wardrobes and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 4: Set on the 2nd floor is your own private entity. The spacious bedroom has dual aspect windows and features a Flemish high based king size antique oak bed – ‘princess and the pea’ style! Across the hall there is a separate dressing room with clothes hanging space, drawers, dressing table and chaise longue. There is also a bathroom with a feature oval bath where you can enjoy a long soak while taking in the countryside views, a separate walk-in double shower, WC, wash hand basin and a towel radiator.
At the rear of the property there is a fully enclosed south facing garden, which backs onto the surrounding fields with an abundance of wildlife. With a good-sized lawn this garden is perfect for the kids and dogs to safely play and the adults to sit back and relax on the sun loungers! There is also a patio with rattan seating for 8 guests, parasol and a Weber charcoal BBQ, perfect for those warm summer evenings, alfresco dinners or lazy morning coffee where the stresses of everyday life will feel a world a way!
At the front of the property there is off-road parking on the gravel drive and under the car port to the side of the house for up to 4 cars.
Field View is within 3 miles of “Norfolk pub of the year” – the Rose and Crown at Snettisham. The Gin Trap in Ringstead is also a short drive away or a delightful walk along the Peddars Way. There are also several supermarkets and other amenities, including a chemist, all within 3 miles of the property.
