Having been recently refurbished to a high standard, Keeper’s Cottage is a charming, traditional Norfolk cottage, perfect for couples, or friends looking for a countryside getaway! Positioned between the villages of Stanhoe and Docking, and just a short drive from the coast, you are well positioned in the heart of North Norfolk for exploring, not only our beautiful countryside and coastline, but also our wonderful restaurants, eateries and independent shops that we are so fortunate to have.
Keeper’s Cottage is a delightful property which has been lovingly refurbished to a high standard to provide a characterful and cosy countryside retreat. Offering a new kitchen, spacious dining area, cosy living room, 2 comfortable double bedrooms, a new 4-piece family bathroom suite and a lovely garden at the front and back of the property. Set in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside, just outside the village of Stanhoe, you are well positioned to explore the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Head into the village of Stanhoe where you will find the award-winning gastropub The Duck Inn, a real must visit! Head a bit further east where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant village of Burnham Market, packed full of independent shops, boutiques and renowned eateries. Alternatively, take a short drive north where you are spoilt for choice with beautiful beaches and golden sand as far as the eye can see, where better to escape to the country!
The brand-new galley kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, including an oven, hob, microwave, built-in dishwasher, and a washer/dryer machine. At the end of the kitchen there is also a ground floor WC.
Head from the kitchen into the adjoined dining room which offers ample space for 4 guests to have a sit-down meal while looking out onto the garden. Here you will also find the fridge freezer.
The living room provides a cosy sanctuary where you can relax in peace and quite while watching the smart TV. In the winter, you can also light the fire and snuggle up warm and toasty on the comfy sofa!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom 1: With views overlooking the surrounding countryside, this sophisticated room offers a king size bed, freestanding wardrobe, and a luggage rack for extra storage.
Bedroom 2: Also overlooking the surrounding countryside, this bedroom is equipped with a double bed, shelves and wall hanging space, as well as a clever hidden storage drawer under the bed.
The contemporary family bathroom has been beautifully finished with a corner drench shower, separate bath, WC, wash hand basin and a heated towel rail. This room also has distant views of the sea.
At the front of the property, there is off-road parking on the gravel driveway for 3 cars.
The pretty garden wraps around the cottage. To the front, the are pretty flower borders between the lawn and the house, giving it a real country cottage feel. To the rear of the property there is a lawn with a central, well-established apple tree, a paved patio area with seating for up to 4 guests and a Webber BBQ, perfect for enjoying those warm summer evenings!
Please note that the garden is separated from the surrounding fields by a hedge and is therefore not fully enclosed.
