Entrance
When arriving at Linksway House you will immediately feel at home in this welcoming, contemporary home from home. Here you can kick off your shoes and let the weight lift from your shoulders. The spacious hallway leads to the lounge, larger living area and the stairs to the first floor.
Lounge
The beautifully light and comfortable lounge is the ideal place in which to relax and put your feet up! Equipped for any season, in the warmer months you can open the French doors that lead onto the patio in the rear garden, or in the cooler months you can snuggle around the roaring wood burner! The TV features BT Sport, Now TV and Sky Sports so you needn’t miss any of the big events while you’re on holiday!
Living Area
The open plan living area is the real social hub of the house! Offering ample space for everyone in your party to gather and stunningly designed with modern, industrial style décor. Comprising a kitchen, dining and lounge area, which also leads to a separate pantry, boot/utility room, and a children’s playroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for a self-catering holiday including a large cooker and hob. The sink is set into the central island, which also doubles as a breakfast bar.
The stylish dining area has a large table and comfortably seats 8-10 guests. It is possible to squeeze an extra 2 seats around the table and bring the capacity up to 12 if necessary. The relaxed lounge area looks out onto the garden and has a large leather sofa, TV and a gas fuelled burner. Here you can also open the French doors onto the patio in the rear garden.
Set through the rustic swinging doors is the separate pantry. This room is kitted out with plenty of shelving and kitchen storage space, as well as an American fridge/freezer and an original butchers block.
Beyond the pantry is the boot/utility room. Here you will find all your laundry equipment including a washing machine and tumble dryer and you can store all of your coats and shoes.
Just off of the main living area there is a separate children’s playroom. Here you will find plenty of toys and crafts to keep the children entertained – especially on rainy days! Complete with a table football table, mini drum kit, a blackboard wall for chalk drawings as well as a sofa and TV with Now TV.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are 6 beautifully designed bedrooms set on the first and second floor. Each of the bedrooms and bathrooms feed off the spacious central landing where you will find a study area with a desk and chair – ideal for anyone who’s work follows them everywhere!
Bedroom 1: Set on the first floor, this room is equipped with bunk beds and provides great views over the golf course and out to sea. Ideal for kids/teenagers.
Bedroom 2: This twin-bedded room is ideal for the children to stay in.
Family Bathroom: Shared by bedrooms 1 and 2, this stylish bathroom is equipped with a freestanding roll-top bath, walk-in shower, WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail.
Bedroom 3: This king size bedroom boasts its own en suite wet room with a rainfall effect shower, WC and hand basin.
Bedroom 4: Overlooking the rear garden, this room is furnished with a king size bed and a freestanding wardrobe.
Bedroom 5: Offering a king size bed this room overlooks the rear garden and has French doors with a Juliette balcony.
Family Bathroom: This contemporary bathroom is shared by bedrooms 4 and 5 and is equipped with a bath with hand-held shower attachment, WC and a round stone hand basin.
Bedroom 6: The room with a view! The spacious master bedroom is located on the second floor and offers a super king size bed, built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers and a shower en suite incorporated in the room. The large window offers incredible panoramic views. Here you can watch the sunset and go to sleep looking at the stars, and then wake up looking out to sea!
There is also 2 separate WC’s, 1 on the ground floor and 1 set on the first floor.
Outside
The rear garden has something for everyone! With a large patio area offering relaxed pallet sofas and benches and an alfresco dining area set beneath the fairy lit pergola with a BBQ, this is the ideal place for the adults in the group to relax long into the warm summer evening. On the lawn there are 2 football goals creating a mini football pitch – friendly competition is always advised! There is also a shed full of children’s toys that you are welcome to use and a bike store should you require somewhere to store your own personal bikes.
Cross the bridge over the stream and you will find the “children’s area”. Here there is a wild area, perfect for den building, a mud kitchen, and some homemade play equipment. Please note that the equipment is advised for young children’s use only, the stream is open, and the garden is not fully enclosed, so children should be supervised at all times. All equipment is to be used at your own risk. Please note that all dogs are by prior arrangement with the owner, depending on the breed and number of dogs.
At the front of the property there is a large gravel drive secured by electric wooden gates. There is also a car port providing covered parking for 2 cars while there is ample room for additional cars on the open gravel.
