This delightful property accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with an open plan living area, an enclosed south facing garden, off-road parking and is within a 20 minute walk to the secluded beach through the RSPB nature reserve - sounds like heaven right?!
No.1 The Hides is a beautiful newly built property located right on the North Norfolk coast in the village of Titchwell. Having worked with a renowned local interior designer Sophie Allsopp and furnished to a high standard, this stylish and sophisticated property comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 well-appointed bedrooms. The open plan living area is a great social space in which to spend quality time with your friends and family, while the enclosed, south facing garden is a lovely place to sit and bask in the sunshine while looking out across the surrounding countryside. The owners have also worked exclusively with local artist Claire Oxley to enhance the interiors with some of her East Anglian inspired paintings of gorgeous hues and stirring landscapes. The unique positioning of this property provides guests with a sea view to the front of the property (including a view of the RSPB reserve with its many different species of birds), extensive field views to the rear and the ever-changing sunsets to the west!
The village of Titchwell is set equidistant between Holkham and Sandringham in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is well located to explore the wild North Norfolk coast at any time of year. Head to the west and you will find the village of Thornham – a real favourite with foodies, and Old Hunstanton with its expansive sandy beach and colourful cliffs. Head to the east and you will find the popular destinations of Brancaster, Burnham Market, Holkham and Wells, to name just a few. Within the village you have the choice of 2 renowned restaurants, Titchwell Manor or Briarfields both of which are within walking distance. For the nature lovers there is a large RSPB nature reserve just a 10-minute walk away and you can also follow the boardwalk through the nature reserve and be on the secluded sandy beach within 20 minutes!
Upon entering No.1 The Hides, you are presented with a large and inviting open-plan living area featuring a contemporary kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge.
The modern kitchen area is well laid out and easy to navigate, with a built-in oven, induction hob, ceramic butler sink, integrated microwave, integrated dishwasher, under-counter fridge, under-counter freezer, and a Nespresso coffee machine. There are also 4 stools lining the breakfast bar.
Set between the kitchen and lounge is the spacious dining area. Comfortably seating 6 – 8 guests around a large attractive wooden table with a combination of chairs and bench seating, this stylish area is the perfect place to come together for a sit-down meal or for socially entertaining.
The comfortable lounge area is set beside the sliding doors that lead out into the enclosed rear garden. Complete with a comfy sofa, 2 armchairs and a 65” QLED frame TV with Sky and Apple TV so you can sit back and relax in style while watching your favourite TV shows or Netflix series! In the summer you can open the sliding doors and invite the outside in.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is set at the rear of the property with a Juliette balcony with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Furnished with a king size bed, freestanding wardrobe, and an en suite with a large walk-in rainfall shower with additional hand-held shower option, hand basin, WC, bathroom caddy and a heated towel radiator.
Bedroom 2: This sophisticated twin-bedded room is furnished with 2 full size single beds and a small chest of drawers. This room shares use of the family bathroom.
Bedroom 3: Set at the front of the property with views looking out to sea, this well-proportioned room is furnished with a king size bed, and a chest of drawers. This room shares use of the family bathroom.
Family Bathroom: The contemporary family bathroom is decorated with marble tiling and equipped with a freestanding oval bath, hand basin, WC and a heated towel radiator. This bathroom is shared by bedrooms 2 and 3.
There is also a ground floor WC set just off the living area.
To the rear of the property there is an enclosed, south facing garden that basks in the sunshine all day! There is a good size lawn and a generous patio area with an outdoor table and seating up to 6 guests, perfect for sitting out in the sun with a good book or enjoying some al fresco dining on a warm summers evening! There is also a Chesney Heat and Grill that provides a BBQ and a wood burner for you to use during your stay and two electric bikes for guests to enjoy too!
There is off-road parking for 2 cars located on the gravel driveway at the rear of the property.
