Sandells is a new, ultra stylish cottage situated in the popular village of Burnham Market. Offering three comfortable and quiet bedrooms, and only short walk from the popular green at the centre of the village, Sandells has the perfect blend of luxury, location and facility. By heading out of the village, you will find the popular beaches of Brancaster and Holkham all within 4 miles of your doorstep. With Sandells as your base, you will be sure to experience the best of village life with access to the wider coastline.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Three fabulous, 1st floor bedrooms await, each with their own style, plenty of storage, smart TV’s and all offering the potential for a peaceful nights rest.
Bedroom one provides a king size bed, smart TV and dressing table with mirror. The room is en suite with a tiled walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.
Bedroom two has the luxury of a zip and link bed, allowing guests to have this made up as a twin or a super king (unless specified, this bed will be made as a super king). As with bedroom one, the room also provides a smart TV and is fully furnished.
Bedroom three has a small double bed that will accommodate one guest. The room also features a smart TV.
The family bathroom can be found on the 1st floor landing, only a few steps away from the bedrooms, and offers a decent sized bath with a shower over it, WC and hand basin. Perfect for a long soak.
There is also a cloakroom with WC on the ground floor.
If there were ever a sofa to sink into at the end of a busy day, it would be this one! Get the group together around the bio-ethanol feature fire and enjoy the large smart TV with sound bar, all served by high-speed internet. After all of that walking, we’re confident that a little down time can be justified.
The room is also well-stocked with board games and books.
Kitchen, Dining Room and Utility
Often viewed as the hub of the house, the open plan kitchen and dining room are the perfect base where groups of six can enjoy mealtimes around the large dining table. The visibility afforded by having the double door access to the adjacent lounge and garden areas allows parents to easily keep tabs on the children, while still being able to enjoy some time to relax themselves. The garden also receives the morning sun, a real bonus for those who like to start their day with a read and a coffee.
The kitchen has been designed to ensure that you will be well catered for, with high quality equipment and ample space for chef to get creative. The set up includes induction hob with extraction, dishwasher, full-size fridge/freezer, Quooker boiling tap and a full inventory of crockery and cookware.
In the utility room, you’ll have a washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee machine and microwave. The owners request that you use the access through the utility room for your general comings and goings from the house.
Sandells has a fully enclosed garden that can accessed from the off-road parking or via the dining room. It is an area has been set up to ensure that guests can enjoy the good weather when it is with us. A hard-landscaped patio provides a BBQ, table and plenty of seating for groups to gather in comfort. Alongside, you have a lawn that gives the children ample space to play, all within sight of the kitchen.
The owners have also added floristic interest and shrubs into the borders, adding to the attractive nature of the space.
At the front of the property, there is also a seating area that has been created to allow guests to enjoy the setting sun in the evening.
There is one off-road parking space that is suitable for a large car. Additional parking can be found at the nearby public car park on Foundry Field.
Located a few minutes from the coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Burnham Market is for many the jewel in North Norfolk’s crown. Set in the heart of the royal coast, this stunning Georgian village has a green surrounded by 18th century houses, shops, chic boutiques and The Hoste, one of the most popular places to eat and drink in North Norfolk and only a short walk from the cottage. With an abundance of small village shops including a butcher, fresh fish shop, green grocers, wine merchant and deli you are spoilt for choice.
All-weather tennis courts can be found an easy stroll away on the village playing field.
A short drive and you’ll discover the sailing harbours at Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe and the beaches and Royal West Norfolk Golf Course at Brancaster. Historic Holkham with its wonderful white sandy beach and Wells-next-the-Sea with its beach huts are a short drive away too. Don’t forget that Barefoot can arrange for bikes to be delivered to the property if you fancy exploring the quiet lanes and beautiful countryside.
