This area is famous for its wildlife all year round – wildfowl in the Winter, nesting terns in the Summer, and large colonies of grey and common seals all year round on the sandbanks of Blakeney Point.
Sailing and boating are popular in the “Pit” which provides large areas of sheltered water when the tide is in. Long walks and spectacular views are available all year round. Morston boasts the fabulous Michelin-starred Morston Hall, and the newly refurbished Anchor Inn provides good local food.
Wells Harbour, Blakeney Quay and Morston all offer a great opportunity to try crabbing and the seal trips from Morston are the best way to experience the wildlife on Blakeney Point.
