Call at Humble Pie, the famous village deli to pick up your picnic for the day, pack the whole family in the car and escape to the beach! With Brancaster, Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham beaches only a 10-15 minute drive away, it’s the perfect place to spend long summer days in the sunshine.
Alternatively enjoy a day’s sailing at nearby Burnham Overy Staithe or Brancaster Staithe then head back to Seven to cook up a treat in the fabulous kitchen and retreat to the snug after a wholesome supper. On warm summer evenings dine in the garden room and relax in the garden while the children play croquet on the lawn.
This fantastic house has been a family home for many years and the beautiful artefacts, paintings and antiques make this house unique and special. The owners have collected hundreds of books over the years and these are a feature of the property.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
This spacious property features three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first floor and two bedrooms and one fabulous bathroom with roll-top bath on the second floor. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor and a separate wet room.
The characterful master king-size bedroom is located on the first floor and has wonderful views over Burnham Market’s village green. On the same floor there is a double bedroom and a children’s twin bedroom with two bathrooms.
On the second floor which has a more modern feel there are two further doubles with a fabulous bathroom featuring a roll-top bath and separate shower.
Seven boasts two separate gardens, one lawned garden where the children can play and aflagstone courtyard area in the centre of the property. The pretty lawned garden is south facing and along with the wonderful garden room, is perfect for relaxing and dining al fresco with a glass of wine on a summer’s evening.
This beautiful village retreat is perfectly positioned for the beach and country pursuits and within easy reach of all the wonderful stately homes and gardens in this beautiful part of Norfolk. Sandringham; residence of HM The Queen is also a short drive away and is well worth a visit.
Walk out of the front door and you are just a hop, skip and a jump from Burnham Market’s fabulous galleries, boutiques, shops, trendy cafe’s and restaurants and the renowned Hoste Arms.
Chill-out in the wonderful vaulted sitting room or in the fabulous garden room or on the lawn in the afternoon sun, with a glass of Pimms or cream tea, while the children play croquet.
The whole family will enjoy cooking up hearty breakfasts on the Aga in the farmhouse kitchen before a day on the beach or an early morning sail.
If you want to enjoy something completely different, play skittles in the indoor hallway/come bowling alley!
The children will love the upstairs playroom/mezzanine area too.
There is ample parking for up to three cars on the gravelled driveway. Seven has everything one could wish for in a home away from home including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, plus an Aga to complete the country dream!
Whilst the dog-loving owners want dogs to enjoy their break as much as you, they kindly request your dog sleeps downstairs in the utility room.
