Within easy walking distance of all the cafe's, foodie shops, deli and lifestyle shops dotted around the village green and only a short drive to the sandy beaches at Brancaster, Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, this is a great place relax and unwind. With parking for up to three cars behind high gates within the grounds, chill out in the beautifully sunny and enclosed walled garden throughout the year; or snuggle up in front of the fire during the winter.

This lovey abode is located in the trendy village of Burnham Market and is ideal for enjoying the vibrancy of village life; the sun, sea, sand and rock pools at the local beaches of Brancaster, Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham and Old Hunstanton; and the fantastic bird and wildlife which can be seen in close proximity at the RSPB reserves in Titchwell and Snettisham.
Finished to a very high standard, the house opens up onto a large entrance hall where you can sit and read, or plan your day, before pulling on your boots or flip flops and heading out! Off the spacious hallway you’ll discover a beautiful kitchen/diner/family room with all the mod cons and a large dining table which seats 12, perfect for enjoying fabulous family suppers. The separate seating area is a great place to have pre-dinner drinks and there are doors leading out onto the lovely enclosed garden which catches the sun all day. A further sitting room with impressive vaulted ceiling and painted white beams is light and bright and offers an alternative place to relax. Chill-out in front of the TV/DVD player with Sky/Sky Sports or play games to while away precious down time spent with friends and family. On a winter’s evening, snuggle down, light the wood burner and enjoy good conversation.
The light and airy feel of this property offers a calm haven to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
The king size master bedroom is very large with plenty of wardrobe space and features an en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower.
The second bedroom features a double bed and the third bedroom is a twin bedded room which are both served by a relaxing family bathroom with a bath and separate shower.
Downstairs there is a further twin bedroom which is serviced by a brand the cloakroom with separate shower.
All bedrooms are beautifully furnished in blues and muted hues to offer a restful night’s sleep.
Outside
Head out of the front gates and take a leisurely stroll around the corner into the centre of Burnham Market where you can browse the numerous boutique and foodie shops.
If you fancy a more relaxed day at St George’s, catch the sun’s rays on the terrace or prepare a meal outside on the BBQ and enjoy dining al fresco. With so much local produce to browse and buy just a short walk away, including fresh bread, fish, meat and vegetables in the quaint village shops, you’ll be spoilt for choice on what to cook! Don’t forget to try local crab, lobster, sea bass, samphire and mussels.
The house is blessed with having house martins that frequently return year on year to breed in their nests just below the eves of the roof. It’s a joy to watch them twist and turn in the sky above the garden on a sunny afternoon.
Barefoot relaxation
You’ll be spoilt for choice on where to go and will wonder how to cram everything in! A day on one of the splendid sandy beaches maybe? Why not hire a beach hut through Barefoot; spend a day horse riding at one of the local riding schools; a morning ‘gillying’ (crabbing) off the quay at Wells-next-the-Sea which costs nothing but is a whole lot of fun; enjoy morning pancakes on the Albatross moored in the harbour at Wells; or head a little further afield to Morston to take a boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney Point. Want to try your hand at sailing or would like to charter a local boat to take you to the stunning Scolt Head Island? then let us know and we’ll do the rest! Don’t miss a visit to the Wells-to-Walsingham railway which offers a wonderfully nostalgic experience and is the longest 10 1/4 ” narrow gauge steam railway in the world. A great adventure for the whole family, while you delight in the beautiful countryside of the North Norfolk coast and best of all your four legged friend can go too!
North Norfolk is extremely dog friendly, with most pubs and beaches accepting dogs. The Orange Tree in Thornham even has its own dog menu!

There is parking for two or three cars on the driveway.
The house is fully-equipped with, a fridge freezer, electric range oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
Dogs are welcome but must sleep in the utility room which is located off the kitchen.
