This contemporary village pad is worlds apart from your traditional cottage, but is very well located in beautiful Burnham Market, said by many to be Norfolk’s loveliest village.
A luxury self-catering bolthole in more ways than one, with bi-fold doors from the open plan living, dining area and kitchen onto the private garden; this spacious retreat boasts plenty of privacy when two couples are holidaying together and has all the mod cons you could need.
With chalky greys and whites and plenty of space to chill and relax, this house provides a calming influence on all that choose to stay. The cottage is also well suited to generational gatherings as one of the en-suite bedrooms is on the ground floor, making it easy for those who prefer one-level living.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
This luxury pad has a contemporary feel throughout and this continues in both of the two bedrooms.
The downstairs bedroom with its large French doors has a super king zip and link bed, meaning that this can be made into a twin bedroom if required. Boasting a wall of wardrobes, you can bring as many outfits as you wish on holiday with you! With a super en-suite shower room too, you are afforded plenty of privacy.
The family bathroom has a bath tub with shower over and this is located off the hallway.
Head up the staircase with its stylish glass balustrade and you will come to the master bedroom suite which has a fabulous glass feature window overlooking the neighbouring roof tops. This fabulously light room also benefits from its own en-suite shower room and plenty of wardrobe space too.
All the bathrooms have luxurious monsoon rain showers meaning that you’ll feel refreshed and ready for a day of exploration!
Please note: when taken as a Sleeps 4, the smaller bunk bedroom is locked although this won’t affect your enjoyment of the property. You will still benefit from the family bathroom meaning there are three bathrooms in all.
Nestled down a quiet single track road off the village green, Stile Cottage is just a hop skip and a jump from the village centre. With a fully enclosed garden with pretty terrace, this pad offers an idyllic setting for alfresco suppers and late night chats under the stars!
The bi-fold doors which open up from the open plan dining, kitchen and living area onto the terrace literally brings the outside in. On a morning, the sun will rouse you from your sleep and warm you as you enjoy breakfast on the sunny terrace. Pop across the road to the caf? to buy your croissants. The lure of the coast will ensure you are out and about before you know it for a fun day at the beach, visiting some of the historic villages, local adventure parks or nature reserves which are abundant along this coast. On returning on an evening, fire up the barbeque and have a fabulous dinner.
The garden is enclosed and the driveway will accommodate one car (maybe two if smaller).
Your first stop must be Burnham Market, where you will find an abundance of pretty boutique shops, art galleries, stylish lifestyle shops and plenty of fabulous foodie haunts, including the famous Humble Pie Deli where the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall can sometimes be spotted choosing their favourite cake; Gurney’s fresh fish shop where you can find the best crab and lobster for miles around and the renowned Howell’s butchers. With little caf?’s serving fresh coffee, a Tuscan farm shop with beautiful Italian oils and breads and the historic Hoste Arms with its traditional bar and fine dining, you won’t be at a loose end on what or where to eat!
While the day away with trips to the local sandy beaches at Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea or head further afield to Old Hunstanton or Sheringham. Explore the quaint little harbours of Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe where you can walk out on the marsh for miles. Or head to the RSPB nature reserve to discover the wonderful bird life which can be found on this coast or board a boat from Morston to Blakeney Point where you can see the seals and learn about their natural habitat.
If you’re looking to get all dressed-up for dinner, then head over to the fabulous Michelin-starred restaurants in Old Hunstanton or Morston. Alternatively stroll across the green to dine at The Hoste, where you can enjoy fine dining outside in their garden by candlelight or in one of the two restaurants.

Stile Cottage is accessed via a single track gravel drive and gates, providing secure off-road parking for one or possibly two cars (depending on size). Please do respect the neighbours that share this access, walkers also use this as a footpath.
This stylish contemporary pad has all the mod-cons including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and fridge/freezer. There is also a Nespresso coffee maker.
