Conveniently located just a short walk to the centre of Burnham Market, with its wonderful array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants surrounding the picturesque village green. You will be spoilt for choice with amazing eateries right on your doorstep! Just a short drive away you will find the beautiful beaches of Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-Next-the-Sea. Enjoy a day out exploring the wonderous North Norfolk coast and then retire to the oasis of Tern Cottage where you can put your feet up and relax in Barefoot luxury.
As you enter this property through the rear garden, you are immediately welcomed into the spacious entrance hall, featuring plenty of space to hang your coats and unique crates in which to store your boots. With its regal themed wallpaper, you will certainly be made to feel like royalty from the moment you arrive!
Just off the entrance hall you will find a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, WC and large sink.
As you head through to the main living area you will pass through the quirky study room/hallway. Featuring striking library effect wallpaper with a desk, chair and corner floor lamp, this space is great for enjoying some peaceful reading time or a game of chess!
This beautiful kitchen/diner perfectly blends contemporary design with rustic charm. Centred around the dining table it is well-equipped featuring a built-in dishwasher, oven and grill, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine.
The plush lounge has a stunning high vaulted ceiling with exposed traditional wood beams giving the room a delightfully spacious feel to it. The wall of floor to ceiling windows allows the room to be flooded with natural light, and you can open the doors out into the garden to really invite the outside in. Alternatively, you can close the blinds and create a private sanctuary where you can snuggle up in front of the cosy wood burner and enjoy watching a good film. The room features some unique furnishings and includes a large corner sofa, individual chair with footstool, wood burner, Freeview TV and DVD player.
There are three beautifully designed double bedrooms, one on the ground floor and two on the first floor.
Bedroom 1 is set on the ground floor just off the lounge, this room features a double bed, chest of drawers and large French doors that open out into the garden. Just outside the room there is a built-in wardrobe with shelving and hanging space. The family bathroom is located adjacent to this room.
Bedroom 2 is on the first floor and overlooks the rear garden. This calm and cosy room exudes a tranquil feel and features a double bed, a built-in cupboard with shelves and hanging space and a modern en suite bathroom. The en suite features a bath with shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Bedroom 3 is on the first floor and overlooks the front of the property. This romantic retreat is beautifully furnished and features a double bed, leather chair with footstool, two tallboys and a built-in wardrobe.
Located just off the lounge and adjacent to the downstairs bedroom is the stylish family bathroom, featuring a bath with shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.
To the rear of the property is a pretty enclosed courtyard garden. Featuring a brick weave patio area with an alfresco dining area including a charcoal BBQ, herbaceous borders and a cart barn providing a covered storage area. Whilst the garden is enclosed please note that it is not fully secure, with access to the neighbour’s garden.
There is roadside parking at the front of the property on North Street.
