Set in a tranquil spot amidst the hustle and bustle of this popular seaside town, The Roundhouse offers a haven with a distinctly Mediterranean feel to it! Located in a privately gated area just off the Quayside, you are perfectly located to enjoy all that this wonderful town has to offer. With five bedrooms spread throughout the three floors that this unique property boasts, this is the ideal place for a family holiday beside the seaside!
Entry to this stunning property brings you into the contemporary open plan kitchen/diner, which overlooks the pretty courtyard garden, and seamlessly links to the sitting room. The large French doors open out onto the raised deck to unify the interior and exterior spaces.
The dining area features and extendable table that comfortably seats 12 guests and is decorated with coastal themed artwork by local artist Andrew Ruffhead.
The functional kitchen is well-equipped with an AGA, electric oven, ceramic induction hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a double Belfast sink.
The beautifully light and bright sitting room benefits from having a curved balcony boasting views to the Quay and salt marshes. In the Summer you can open up the balcony doors and enjoy the fresh sea air, or in the winter you can hunker down, close off the room from the kitchen/dining area, light the cosy wood burner and enjoy your favourite films on the large Smart TV with Sonos sound bar.
The lower ground floor hallway is long and spacious offering plenty of hanging space for everyone’s coats and space for storing your boots and shoes. You will also find a selection of books housed on the shelves for you to peruse at your leisure.
On the lower ground floor you will find a utility room equipped with a washer/dryer, sink and essential cleaning equipment.
Bedroom 1: Situated on the lower ground floor, this very spacious bedroom is flooded with natural light from the large sliding glass doors, which can be opened to bring the outside in! Furnished with a king size bed, large freestanding wardrobe and matching chest of drawers, a large feature mirror and a relaxed seating area. This room has sole use of the wet room at the end of the adjacent hallway. The tiled wet room features a shower, WC, hand wash basin and a heated towel rail. Please note that this bedroom is not on the same level as the living areas of the property.

Bedroom 2: Located on the second floor, this very spacious bedroom is set in the rounded turret of the house, giving it its unique shape! With views looking towards the quay and salt marshes, this room features a king size bed, built-in wardrobes and an en suite shower room with a walk-in corner shower, WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail.
Family Shower Room: Set on the second floor, this room provides a large walk-in rain effect shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 3: This naturally light bedroom features a Juliette balcony overlooking the rear courtyard garden and is furnished with a super king size bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers and benefits from having its own en suite bathroom, with a bath, WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail
Bedroom 4: This room is the highest room in the house and has views to the front and rear of the property. Furnished with two sets of full size bunk beds, this room is perfect for the children within the group, or even the adults who are young at heart!
Bedroom 5: The exterior twin bedroom is accessed via the raised deck at the rear of the house and has 2 single beds, perfect for those teenagers wanting their own space!
To the rear of the property there is an enclosed Italianate style courtyard garden. Filled with an abundance of plants, shrubs, trees and foliage, and with the original rustic brick paving, you will feel a world away from everyday life! There are numerous seating options; there is a wrought iron table and chairs for four guests in the courtyard, the central pergola provides a romantic spot for couples to sit beneath, and on the raised deck there is an al fresco dining area with an extendable dining table seating 12 guests set undercover, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, a pastry or two and a read of the daily newspaper. What better way to start your day!
