The Triumphal Arch

Wells next the Sea • Sleeps 2 • Dogs welcome

A truly unique and romantic retreat, The Triumphal Arch is an 18th century grade I listed building, designed by the renowned architect, William Kent. Initially built to impress travellers passing through on their way to the nearby north Norfolk coast, it rears its head at the top of the south avenue that leads to the Obelisk and Holkham Hall beyond. Set just outside the walls of Holkham Park it is hard to think of a more memorable combination of property and location.

"We had a wonderful stay at the Triumphal Arch and loved the surroundings. The Arch is well decorated (kitchen was adequately equipped) and perfect for us two during our restful stay."
