Woodside is a picture-perfect country house that has been beautifully renovated and furnished to a very high standard. With plenty of care and attention to detail throughout, this splendid property is the perfect base for friends or families looking for a peaceful, relaxing retreat in a great location. Nestled in the quiet village of Stanhoe, you are conveniently located within a five-minute drive of Burnham Market and the stunning North Norfolk coast, while also being a short walk from the award-winning gastro pub, The Duck Inn.
This enticing property will make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Located just a few miles from the vibrant village of Burnham Market or the wild Norfolk coastline, you can spend your days out exploring while knowing that you can retire back to your luxury retreat to recharge your batteries.
The welcoming hallway is spacious and light, affording access to the kitchen/diner, lounge, snug, utility room, ground floor cloakroom and the stairs to the first floor. There is also storage space for your coats and shoes in the useful cupboard under stairs.
The combined kitchen/diner provides a sociable space for the family to gather, ensuring that the chef doesn’t get left out while cooking a gourmet meal! The kitchen is well-organised with all the necessary equipment including; a fridge/freezer, Rangemaster cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is also a centre island that provides additional work-top space.
At the other end of the room, the dining area features a lovely dining table which comfortably seats 6 guests.
There is a separate utility room housing the washer/dryer and a large sink. Here you will also find the back door leading onto the patio in the rear garden.
The stylish lounge presents the perfect space in which to relax with the family. In the summer you can open the French doors onto the patio to unify the interior and exterior areas, or in the winter you can hunker down around the cosy wood burner where you can literally ‘Netflix and chill’ in front of the large Smart TV!
There is a separate snug room equipped with another large Smart TV, a comfy sofa, and some children’s toys – ideal as a kid’s playroom! Alternatively, this room is also perfect for those looking for a quiet reading space, with a large feature lamp providing the ultimate lighting, you can snuggle into the sofa and let yourself become fully immersed in a good book.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are three individually designed bedrooms, one of which is en suite, and a deluxe family bathroom occupying the first floor.
Bedroom 1: Overlooking the front of the property, this twin-bedded room is decorated with striking feature wallpaper and is equipped with two single beds, both with Vi-Spring mattresses, a dressing table with chair and mirror, and a generous built-in wardrobe providing ample storage space.
Bedroom 2: Also overlooking the front of the property, this charming room features a king size bed with a Hypnos mattress, twin chests of drawers and a generous built-in wardrobe.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 are both serviced by the sumptuous family bathroom which has been elegantly furnished with a large walk-in shower offering guests a choice of rain effect or power shower options, a modern freestanding bath, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 3: The sophisticated master bedroom overlooks the rear and side of the property and is beautifully furnished with a king size bed with a Hypnos mattress, a generous built-in wardrobe and a dressing table with a chair and mirror. This room also benefits from a lavish en suite bathroom, complete with his and hers sinks, a freestanding slipper bath, a corner shower offering a choice of rain effect or power shower options, WC and heated towel rail.
There is also a ground floor cloakroom with a WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail.
At the front of the property there is a pretty garden area with two small grass areas laying either side of the pathway leading to the front door. Surrounded by a combination of brick wall, fence and hedging, with borders that are beautifully planted with pretty flowers and lavender.
To the rear of the property there is an equally attractive garden. The patio area is the ideal space for al fresco dining with a table and seating, and a gas BBQ. Head through the wooden arch onto the grassed area, which is surrounded by pretty, planted borders where the children can play safely in the knowledge that the garden is fully enclosed.
The driveway to the side of the house offers off-road parking for up to 3 cars. Please note that parking on the lane in front of the property is prohibited.
