The endless golden sands of Brancaster beach, lined by dunes on one side, a glistening sea on the other and a shipwreck that’s only reachable at low tide. Head to Brancaster Staithe, though, and you’ll find a network of creakes, sailing boats and some of the finest foodie-spots anywhere, while Burnham Deepdale is a paradise for coastal walks and doorstop adventures.
