Barefoot Retreats

Damage Waiver Policy

Barefoot Retreats operates a non refundable Damage Waiver Policy with most of the properties on our portfolio. This covers the cost of making good any accidental loss or damage to the selected property and/or its contents caused through act or omission of you (and any of your guests or accompanying pets) up to a certain amount, which is specific to each property. Please see the list below which details the Damage Waiver Fee and the covered Damage Waiver amount for each of our properties. You will also see which of our properties are not part of our Damage Waiver Policy and therefore require a refundable Good Housekeeping Deposit instead.

The Damage Waiver Policy is not insurance and does not provide liability coverage. It is in place to protect guests from the potential high costs of accidental damages to the Barefoot Retreats property in which they are staying.

Where any such damage caused exceeds the Damage Waiver or Good Housekeeping Deposit amount, you agree to pay Barefoot Retreats, acting on behalf of the owner, any reasonable costs incurred in making good any such loss or damage above the predetermined amount. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full details.

Damage Waiver Fee – £25 + VAT (covering up to £250)
