The History of Ringstead
Surrounded by lush coastal countryside, this medieval village hides centuries of history that remains on display to this very day.
A 13th century fairytale church, the remains of an 11th century round tower, a 17th century village pub and thirteen other listed buildings that are yours to gawp and gander at as you wander around the village in muddy wellies, gently working up an appetite before settling in for a long lunch at The Gin Trap, where they’ve been serving farmers, fisherman, traders and smugglers since 1668.
