'We had a very special week (helped by wall to wall sunshine!) at Sloe Cottage. Loved the village especially The Gin Trap Inn which re-opened on Monday and the very friendly village store. The kids also loved the new adventure playground at Sandringham and the dog loved the local walks, especially the footpath over the fields at the corner of the road. We all loved your beautiful cottage. Thank you.'

'1st visit here - Sloe Cottage and North Norfolk exceeded our expectations! Lovely accommodation - most meals enjoyed around the sunny table at the top of the garden. Nellie, the dog loved her stay too! Explored the pretty villages of Holt and Burnham Market and basked on Brancaster beach! Great food at No 29 and The Orange Tree as well as daily trips to the village store and a successful foray to the nursery nearby. Would love to return!'

'The cottage is lovely with everything you could think of to use, its here! It is so peaceful. The beds are comfortable so you really get a good nights sleep. The garden has the two seating areas, so breakfast can be had outside and then later on a great place to sit in the sun at the back of the garden. The village store is very useful and easy to walk to and stocks most things. The weather has been mixed but the cottage is lovely and warm. Thank you for a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage!'

'1st week away this year, after 3rd lockdown. Fantastic, well equipped cottage - one that we'll compare all future cottages with. Cold and windy, which was a shame as it was too cold most days to sit out in the local pubs. Did manage a gin at The Gin Trap. Love Norfolk is so dog friendly, taking home very tired dogs!!'

'A lovely cosy cottage. Visited all our favourite beaches, Wells, Holkham, a special trip to Horsey Gap to see the seals, well worth it. Visited The Gin Trap a couple of times, great for a few drinks and a meal very dog friendly. Do not miss Deli in Thornham, great for breakfast, lunches. Thank you Barefoot Retreats for everything.'
