Centrally located in North Norfolk you are well-positioned to explore the entire coastline, including the ever-popular Brancaster that is just 4 miles away. With a luxurious en suite king size bedroom located on the ground floor and an open plan living area with a very generous ceiling height on the first floor with views overlooking Brancaster. This is the prefect bolthole for couples looking for a romantic getaway! Please be aware that Mr Binnacle is not suitable for pets or children.
Mr Binnacle is a truly unique and bespoke 1 bedroom property located in the village of Docking, in the heart of North Norfolk. Here you are well-located to explore all that Norfolk has to offer while having all of your necessary amenities on your doorstep. The village itself has a Spa shop, post office, pub, and Dr’s surgery that are all within walking distance of Mr Binnacle. Alternatively, just a 5 minute drive to the east is the famous village of Burnham Market, while a 5 minute drive to the north brings you to Brancaster with its expansive sandy beach!
Mr Binnacle himself is full of artisan staging and unique artworks, showcasing specialist hand crafting by renowned local artists. In addition to this, many of the pieces of furniture are bespoke, having been designed and made by the owners own inhouse team. For example, the king size bed has a bespoke handmade headboard and a British handmade mattress with natural fillings, they have used handblocked and textured grass-cloth wallpapers and bespoke light fittings throughout, to name just a few of his stunning features. With a luxurious en suite king size bedroom located on the ground floor and an open plan living area on the first floor this is the prefect bolthole for couples looking for a romantic getaway!
Set on the first floor, the open plan living area is beautifully light and comprises a cosy lounge, modern kitchen, and a bright and stylish dining area.
The lounge area comprises a large comfy sofa and 2 hand-crafted armchairs with a bespoke coffee table and several pieces of unique artwork. There is also a Smart TV for you to enjoy your favourite TV shows or Netflix series on!
The contemporary kitchen area is light and very well equipped with a Corian worktop, double oven, integrated fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher, combined washer/dryer and a Nespresso coffee machine.
The cute dining area is set overlooking the front of the property and is furnished with a bespoke table with hand-crafted chairs, making this the perfect place for a romantic meal for 2!
Bedroom and Bathroom
The luxurious bedroom is located on the ground floor and offers ample space to guests. Featuring a bespoke headboard that has been hand-crafted to a unique design using intricate needle work and beading to create a statement piece that is truly a one off! The sumptuous king size bed also features a handmade, luxurious mattress with natural fillings for the ultimate comfort. There are also built-in wardrobes for all your storage needs, a Smart TV, and a dressing table, chair and mirror.
The en suite marble bathroom features a unique, oval shaped, stone bath (with a handheld shower attachment), contemporary stone hand basin, WC, and heated towel radiator.
To the front of the property there is a private patio area which is south facing, meaning it gets the best of the sunlight all day long! Here you will find an outdoor dining table and chairs as well as a Kamado pizza oven/BBQ that can literally cook everything from jacket potatoes to joints of meat!
At the front of the property there is 1 off-road parking space set on the specially designed resin-bound driveway. There is also a dedicated electric car charging point available, please note that the cost for the use of this is already built into the booking.
