The Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International Horse Trials

Share

Friday 12th – Sunday 14th April 2024

With your Barbour zipped up and your welly boots excited about the mud, you get to enjoy the thrill of world-class eventers pounding the ground as they gallop through the countryside against the clock, your tipple almost spilling with the thrill of it and all under Norfolk’s famous big skies.

There really is nothing quite like playing spectator at the horse trials and we’re excited for the annual Barefoot Retreats Burnham Market International Horse Trials. We’re talking about a dozen of the top 20 eventers in the world descending to the coast to battle it out for the ultimate bragging rights on an Olympic year. The prestigious equestrian competition showcases top-level eventing competitions. Riders and horses will compete in dressage, cross-country, and show jumping phases. The event sees elite riders from around the world travel to Burnham Market for its challenging course and beautiful countryside setting.

Along with three days of eventing action there are delicious food vendors (making picnics optional), and producers, cash bars, Falconry displays and terrier racing, Grays funfair and an array of exhibitors from jackets to saddlery, footwear, pet products and lifestyle and interiors.

Make the most of the spring sunshine and book one of our luxury retreats in and around Burnham Market.  Alternatively book a night or two in our boutique hotel in Burnham Market.
