Introduction

This stunning Grade II listed barn, dating back to 1752, has been thoughtfully and expertly converted in 2014 into a grand holiday retreat, seamlessly blending historical charm with modern luxury. The original character of the barn has been preserved with exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, and rustic brickwork, providing a unique and memorable holiday experience in a truly exceptional property.

Inside

This magnificent property will blow you away with its grandeur and stunning details including the spectacular ornate ceilings, detailed architraves, cast iron radiators, chandeliers, exposed beams, and a grand oak staircase. Combining the Barn and Orangery via the adjoining walkway allows this property to accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms and a separate ground floor WC. There are 2 hand-made kitchens, 2 dining areas, 2 living areas, and a utility room.

Outside

To the north side of the barn there is a large walled courtyard with cypress trees, and boarders filled with roses and rosemary. There is a seating area just outside the barn doors where you can enjoy the peaceful setting and evening sun with table and chairs.

The south facing garden off The Orangery is mostly laid to lawn with fruit trees, herbaceous boarders and lavender hedging. There is a large patio area with tables and bench seating and a charcoal BBQ (fuel not included) where you can enjoy the peaceful setting with lovely open countryside views.

There is also ample off-road parking available.

Please also note that while the property is dog friendly, the grounds are not secure so some dogs could get out onto the surrounding fields. We recommend keeping dogs on leads as much as possible.
