Step through the side entrance and into a world of understated sophistication, where every corner of The Gate House has been thoughtfully designed to soothe and inspire. The heart of the home is a stunning L-shaped, dual-aspect living area, beautifully anchored by a striking three-sided wood-burning stove. This architectural centrepiece lends a warm, ambient glow to both the sitting and dining spaces, creating an inviting atmosphere throughout.

To one side, the spacious kitchen blends classic country charm with contemporary luxury. Overlooking the garden, it features an Everhot stove, built-in electric oven, induction hob, microwave, Fisher and Paykel fridge-freezer, integrated dishwasher, double ceramic butler sink with Quooker boiling water tap, and toaster - perfectly equipped for even the most passionate of cooks.

Opposite, the dining area offers an elegant space for up to six guests, softly illuminated by sculptural cantilevered pendant lighting to set the mood for intimate dinners.

Just beyond, the vaulted sitting room is a haven of comfort and calm, dressed in warm, earthy tones. Here, you’ll find two plush three-seater sofas, a Smart TV, and continued views of the flickering fire. French doors open directly onto the garden, inviting you to let the outside in on warmer days.

There is also a utility room/cloakroom located off the impressive entrance hall, where you will find a WC and wash hand basin, while cleverly tucked away in the cupboards there is also a washer/dryer, laundry rack, and a double ceramic butler sink.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The Gate House offers two exquisitely appointed bedrooms, each a private haven of comfort and indulgence, complete with its own sumptuous bathroom.

Bedroom 1: The expansive master suite, located on the ground floor, exudes contemporary elegance. A striking modern four-poster king size bed takes centre stage, with wardrobes, chests of drawers, full-length mirror and a smart TV. Within the room, a sculptural free-standing bathtub invites long, luxurious soaks, flanked by twin mirrored wash basins. Behind a sleek partition lies a fully tiled, large rainfall shower - both stylish and spacious.

Bedroom 2: On the first floor, the second bedroom awaits. Located just off the galleried mezzanine landing, which overlooks the sitting room, this serene retreat features a versatile super-king zip-and-link bed, which can be arranged as twin beds on request, large wardrobe, chests of drawers, a dressing table, and relaxed seating. Adjacent is a beautifully designed private bathroom with both a bath and a separate walk-in shower, wash hand basin, WC, and heated towel radiator, offering flexibility and comfort.
