Great location to explore beaches . We intend to return.

Had a great week and tons of fab things. Went on a boat to Scolt Head Island and a great rope course at Holkham Hall. Brancaster is beautiful. Hoping to come back again next year as a week isn't enough.

Amazing place, good location & facilities. Can't wait to come back . Very clean .

Lovely stay! We enjoyed Sunday lunch at No.29 and dinner at The White Horse.Lots of beach walks, riding at Holkham Hall, a pony ride with lambing at Snettisham Park Farm and not forgetting mini golf at Hunstanton. Still so much more left to do, thank you!!

'We have used Barefoot Retreats before so were not disappointed with the cottage. Great standard and very homey! We love the coast and had not stayed in Burnham Market before, again not disappointed. Lovely local point for the best beaches! We are going home now but look forward to another visit!

' Had a lovely stay in Burnham Market. I can't believe how warm it has been in October. Very modern and comfortable! We enjoyed eating at Socius, The Ostrich, Number 29, The Hero and great sandwiches at the Tuscan Farmshop on the green. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed walking on Holkham and Brancaster and Holt is also well worth a visit!

'Had a great week thanks to some good weather, only rained Thursday night and Friday morning. Had lovely walks on the beaches at Holme and Holkham and wonderful cake from Tillys in the village and Creake Abbey. We loved watching all the geese playing over the marshes, which we were told were pink footed geese arriving from Greenland. Heading home relaxed!

Lovely stay at Number 10, the weather was kind to us so we managed to visit the beach, have a few bike rides and walks as well. Visited many restaurants and all were very good. Thank you Norfolk, you didn't disappoint. Everywhere was fabulous and clean and the welcome hamper was great!

'This property and Norfolk are both just as good as we remembered. We had a fabulous week - the weather was very hot, so spent much more time on the beaches. Plenty of space for everyone. Once again we enjoyed this well equipped house in a great location. We ate at The Hoste, The White Horse, The Hero and Number 29. We very much like the standard of Barefoot Retreats. 'Finally got to take our holiday postponed from last year! We couldn't have picked a nicer cottage or a better 2 weeks for the weather. Cottage is lovely with everything we needed. This was our first visit to Norfolk and we have loved everything here - Titchwell RSPB site is a must for bird watchers and Eric's pizzas and fish & chips at Thornham is excellent (as is their cider and apple juice!). We've had such a good holiday and could easily have stayed another week here. Thank you!'

'Thank you! Just what we needed coming out of lockdown! We have enjoyed some lovely beach walks at Old Hunstanton, Brancaster, Wells and Holkham. The local shops and deli at Thornham and Burnham Deepdale have kept us in provisions. Outdoor dining at The Hoste and The Lifeboat were cosy enough in spite of the coastal chilly winds. Fish and chips on Wells quay was good. It is very unusual for us to find a comfy seaside home where literally nothing is missing! We appreciated the attention to detail and excellent facilities.'

'Lovely property, well furnished and in an excellent location. We have had a wonderful week here, walking on Brancaster, Holkham and Wells beaches. Weathers been very kind to us too. 'Described as the perfect luxury retreat and it certainly is. Have had a wonderful, relaxing and quiet week in the country. I have spent many happy weeks in Norfolk and it has been lovely to revisit Holkham, Wells, Holt and Brancaster from this ideal location! This is the first time I have rented with Barefoot Retreats but am sure it won't be my last - very impressive. My Mum and I have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!'

'We really enjoyed our stay here. This is the third Barefoot Retreats property that we have stayed in, and we liked it best! The house is well equipped, in a great location and nicely furnished. We visited Brancaster and Holkham beaches and walked to Wells. We ate out at The Hoste (not as good as it used to be), The Hero, The White Horse and The Ship. Also enjoyed drinks at Number 29 and The White Horse. Overall a great holiday - we have already booked for next year.'

'Fantastic property to spend a very enjoyable week in Norfolk. Our first trip to this part of the UK and we really loved Burnham Market and all that it has to offer (especially Socius) plus fantastic days spent at Brancaster and Holkham beaches. The street food festival at Holkham Hall on the Bank Holiday was great too! Finally, some excellent cycling to work off the calories! Many thanks and once again what a wonderful house!'

'We have had an amazing time! We love the house and beach themed décor, and how central it is in Burnham Market! The weather has been wet and wild but we have definitely made the most of it! We have visited Holkham and Brancaster beach (both are beautiful!) and have had some great meals out at Number 29, The Hoste Arms and Socius!'

'We stayed in 11 Sandells Walk from 21st March and also left early. Glad to be back and to see the local businesses open again. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon and businesses manage to survive. This is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and quiet but just a stone's throw from the village and the beautiful coast. Owing to the tide times and hightide we couldn't get to Brancaster beach so opted for Holme-Next-the-Sea, which was lovely especially for our dog. We'll be back again soon.'

'What a lovely place to spend a long awaited vacation. Lovely home, lovely village and fabulous food at Socius where we were lucky enough to be blessed by gorgeous sunshine and dine outside. Amazing beach walks with our dog and around the grounds of Holkham Hall, Hope to return soon.'

'Another glorious week in this lovely property. A really comfortable and well equipped house. The weather was kind to us also which made for trips to Holkham, Wells, Titchwell and Holt. Great eateries nearby, especially Socius! Back home today, but i'm sure we will return.'

'We came for a week, but had to leave after 3 days because of Government guidelines. We were in two minds whether to come but wanted to support local businesses, without putting ourselves or other people at risk. We visit Norfolk regularly and are sad to leave. Although a short stay, the cottage is beautiful and we have felt very safe, secure and comfortable. The facilities are lovely, very clean and quality furnishings. We are familiar with the area and spend a lot of time walking the dog on Brancaster beach. Thank you for having this cottage available. We will definitely be booking again, once this crisis is under control.'

'Super house with everything we needed apart from 'time' - sadly we are having to leave early due to the Coronavirus regulations. Certainly we will be returning.'
