Introduction

Fantastic for couples and small families, the cottage has been thoughtfully prepared and even offers a 'Zen Den' to relax in that is adjacent to the rear enclosed garden.

Inside

Blending the natural character of the cottage with the owners unique design touches, Burr Cottage blends the two worlds to create a special bijou bolthole in popular Burnham Market.

Outside

By exiting the back door you’ll find the extra space created by the owners, referred to as the ‘Zen Den’. While it houses the washing machine, when it is not in cycle the space provides a quiet spot well away from the road and other disturbance where you can enjoy a glass of wine and a good book.

Heading through the Zen Den takes you to the enclosed rear garden. Here you have additional outside seating, perfect for children and dogs to be in safely while the parents relax in the den.

Please note that the cottage has shared access between the kitchen back door and the ‘Zen Den’ / garden.

Roadside parking only.

Room Descriptions

Lounge

Two armchairs and a sofa sit in front of the open fire place. In the cooler months this room absolutely comes into its own, a crackling fire after a wintery walk is always a possibility at Burr Cottage.

For electronic entertainment, the room also offers a widescreen, Netflix enabled TV and Bose bluetooth speaker.

Kitchen and Dining

A great space to cater and relax in, the kitchen and dining area sits next to the lounge on the ground floor. Clever design has enabled the owners to maximise the use of the available space, ensuring that guests are provided with all the facilities that they might require. This includes integrated fridge, freezer, combi oven, kettle, microwave, toaster, Nespresso machine (pods not included) and dishwasher.

The dining area has four super comfortable chairs and enough space to relax during the course of a long meal. Special mention must go to the lighting feature above the table where three top hats operate as lampshades, the perfect venue for the mad hatters tea party!

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Head up the traditional, steep winder staircase and you will find two bijou but comfortable king size bedrooms that are accessed from the 1st floor landing. On the same landing you also have the shower room and WC. Please be aware that there is reduced head room through the doorways so mind your head!

This is a great, cosy, well equipped and furnished cottage. Thanks to the owners and Barefoot for presenting it so well. We love the village and all the great shops. This is our second village visit and already planning our next! Fantastic human and dog walks nearby at Holkham and Old Hunstanton beaches. We really enjoyed our little break, thank you!
