Built and furnished to a luxury standard, Dragonfly offers space and comfort in abundance. With accommodation set over three floors there is ample space to accommodate up to 8 guests. Nestled in the flourishing village of Docking, you have the ideal position to enjoy the coast and the countryside whilst still being within walking distance to the village’s amenities!

Inside

Dragonfly is a beautifully designed, modern, luxury property with a relaxed ambience and an abundance of natural light, this delightful house is the perfect retreat all year round. In the warmer months, you can peel back the bi-fold doors and welcome in the fresh air whilst firing up the BBQ and enjoying the sunny garden. Throughout the autumn and winter the property becomes a safe haven where you can fire up the wood burner in the comfort of the lounge and enjoy an evening in with good company.

Outside

At the front of the property there is ample off-road parking for three cars on the gravel driveway.

At the rear of the property there is a lovely enclosed garden with a luscious lawn and a paved patio that extends round the side of the house. There is a formal al fresco dining table with 6 chairs as well as a relaxed seating area, ideal for enjoying a BBQ on those lazy summer afternoons and evenings.

Reception Rooms

The long inviting entrance hall makes you feel at home from the moment you cross the threshold at Dragonfly. Providing space to hang your coats and store your shoes, the ground floor area all seamlessly links together through the centralised hallway. Just off the entrance hall is the classy snug. Featuring two comfy leather armchairs, a beanbag and a Smart TV. This room is the perfect space for those looking for some quiet reading/TV time or as a base for the kids.

Moving through the property the contemporary kitchen is equipped with everything that a budding chef will need to cook a gourmet meal for your party. Featuring a built-in oven and ceramic hob, a separate integrated fridge and freezer as well as a large freestanding fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and a Krups Nespresso machine. There is also an integrated washing machine for you to use and a table with 4 chairs.

As you head into the rear of the property you are welcomed into the bright and spacious living area consists of an open plan lounge and dining area. The well-designed lounge area centres around the toasty wood burning stove, featuring two large comfortable sofas, two stools and a Smart TV. In the warmer months you can even open up the large bi-fold doors to unify the interior and exterior spaces. The Dining area offers a large wooden dining table with benches, providing ample space to seat up to 8 guests. There is also a bespoke, hand-made driftwood side table which incorporates the theme of the coastal area.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

There are four beautifully styled, elegant bedrooms located on the first and second floor.

Bedroom 1

Set on the first floor, overlooking the front of the property is the twin bedroom, featuring two single beds and a storage unit with drawers and hanging space.

Bedroom 2

This first-floor bedroom features a king size bed, large built-in wardrobe, a separate chest of drawers and an ottoman storage chest.

Family Bathroom

The spacious, modern family bathroom services bedrooms one and two and provides a bath with shower over, a separate large walk-in shower with rain-effect or power shower options, hand basin, WC and a heated towel rail.

Bedroom 3

This sophisticated bedroom is set on the first floor and overlooks the rear of the property. With a king size bed, matching bedside tables and storage unit offering drawers and hanging space, a chair for some relaxed seating and its own en suite shower room, affording a large walk-in double shower, WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail.

Bedroom 4

The stylish master bedroom is located on the second floor. Beautifully lit by the Velux windows, this room features a king size bed, dressing table with a chair and mirror, a separate dressing area with a freestanding wardrobe and an en suite shower room. The en suite provides a walk-in double shower with rain-effect or power shower options, WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail.

There is also a separate WC located on the ground floor.

'I have just returned from a delightful stay in one of your houses – Dragonfly in Docking. We have had 4 nights there and would have loved at least 4 more had they been available to us! The house was just delightful. How nice to stay somewhere which has had every detail well thought through. The standard was high and much appreciated. The bedrooms reminded me of a White Company advertisement! Perfect in every way. To have so much crockery and cutlery was excellent. The main living room was comfortable and easy and, on the first night which was chilly, we managed to have a lovely fire. I have brought back the details and recommended you to our friends for another year – you are booked for this one! Pixie, our spaniel, loved it too and as we had her crate with us, she was happy and felt safe at night and when we went out to Twenty9 for dinner and left her there in it. Everything was easy – and having had a fairly difficult time after the surgery on my hip – I was really grateful
