The Well House is a Grade II listed 400 year old historic luxury private town house, boasting spacious rooms and chic interiors throughout, this beautiful character house offers luxury self-catering accommodation with five large bedrooms, all with en-suites, two of which have magnificent roll-top baths. A welcoming aura and grey hues prevail at this luxury house.The grandeur of the house offers generous living areas downstairs to enable all of the family to spread out and unwind, whether it’s a seaside break you’re after, or a trip to the foodie meccas which populate this wonderful coast.
Outside
The beautiful south-facing sun terrace area, sheltered by the house, is a great spot for al fresco dining, benefiting from plenty of comfortable seating and a large BBQ for sizzling the freshest catch of the day. There is a further sun terrace and uncovered pond in the garden, so please take care with children and dogs. Barefoot Retreats and the owners can accept no liability for this.There is private parking for up to two cars. Although there is no parking immediately next to the property, private parking is provided in an area belonging to the owners 250 yards away. Alternatively, there is public parking locally.

Fancy cooking at home? Then relax and enjoy the contemporary hand-painted well-equipped kitchen, which is the real hub of the house. The large electric Aga and separate electric hob is ideal when cooking for larger groups, while the central island unit enables everyone to get stuck in and enjoy the conversation. Alternatively, request the services of a private chef through Barefoot Retreats.The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the utility cupboard just through the study.
Living Room
Find your peaceful retreat in a quiet room and unwind as the house buzzes around you.Relax in front of the wood burner during the winter months and enjoy some quality family time together or a good catch-up with friends over a glass of wine or enjoy a film with your nearest and dearest. The cottage is set up with Sky TV and Netflix so you’ll have plenty of relaxation opportunities.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Choose from three beautifully furnished bedrooms on the first floor and two fabulous bedrooms on the second floor.On the first floor you’ll find a fabulous master king size bedroom with a very spacious and luxury bathroom with a drench shower and separate roll top bath with views from the bedroom over the rear garden. Additionally, there are a further two single bedrooms; one with a separate shower room and the other with fantastic sea views down to the harbour with an en suite bathroom with shower over.
Climb the steep winder staircase to the top floor and you’ll discover a further large king size bedroom with equally large en suite bathroom with drench shower and roll-top bath. There is a further twin bedroom on this floor with en suite walk in shower and boasts views down to the harbour.
With the two king suites featuring over-size drain showers and stand-alone baths, this retreat offers the perfect place to pamper and indulge in some blissful ‘me’ time.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom off the entrance hallway.
