Inside

Head inside this unassuming townhouse, tucked away not far from the village green, to discover a beautiful blend of comfort, classical design and modern-luxe. The ground floor celebrates open plan living with a contemporary light filled kitchen with all the mod cons, a large dining table big enough for all the gang and a cosy lounge for movie marathons and board games by the roaring log burner. Find a plush private en suite bedroom accessed via the kitchen and a further four boutique bedrooms over the first and second floors. Come rain or shine Market View is the antidote to busy lives, a place to escape and unwind with your favourite people.

A perfectly formed walled garden, in spring and summer relax amidst the lush greenery beneath Norfolk’s famous big skies with the gentle bustle of Burnham Market and the BBQ your soundtrack to a slower pace of life. Step outside of Market View and you’ll find a world of boutique shops, cute cafes and delicious delis, award winning eateries and cosy pubs on your doorstep.

There is off-road parking for 2 cars, under the arch to the rear of the property.

Living Areas

Upon entering Market View you are presented with a large and inviting entrance hall where you don your jackets and boots before heading through to the open plan living area or heading up the striking staircase to the first and second floors.

Open the double doors into the sumptuous and homely open-plan living area where you are presented with a comfortable lounge, spacious dining area, and stunning kitchen.

The comfy lounge area comprises a large corner sofas and separate armchairs, all centred around a cosy wood burning stove and large Smart TV, making it perfect for snuggling together around the crackling fire with your favourite movie, or playing some games and spending quality time together.

Set between the kitchen and lounge is the spacious dining area. With space for up to 10 guests around a large attractive wooden table, this stylish area is the perfect place to come together and enjoy a gourmet meal before retiring to the sofas.

The kitchen area is beautifully light and airy due to the lantern roof overhead and is kitted out with top of the range appliances including an integrated double oven/microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, a large American style fridge freezer with an ice and water dispenser, additional drinks fridge, double sink, boiling hot water tap and De'Longhi Nespresso Inissia Coffee Machine (4 pods provided to get you started). There is also a central kitchen island

In addition to the open plan living area there is also a separate utility room with washing machine, separate tumble dryer and an additional large sink. There is also a door which leads out into the rear paved courtyard where there is a quiet seating area for 4. From the utility room, there are also stairs that lead up to the fifth bedroom with en suite.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

There are five spacious bedrooms, each of which have been individually designed and furnished to a high standard to provide the most luxurious retreat.

Bedroom 1

Set on the first floor, this chic bedroom provides a king size bed a free-standing chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe and a dressing table with stool and mirror. There is also an en suite with a bath, separate walk-in rainfall shower with additional power shower, wash hand basin, WC and a heated towel rail.

Bedroom 2

The stylish master bedroom is located on the first floor overlooking the front of property and offers a four-poster super king bed, three free-standing chests of drawers, a walk-in closet/dressing room and a dressing table with stool and mirror. The en suite is equipped with a Jacuzzi bath with integrated TV, a separate large walk-in shower with four functions available, wash hand basin, WC and a heated towel rail.

Bedroom 3

Set on the second floor, this bedroom is flooded with natural light through the 2 large Velux windows and offers a king size bed, free-standing chest of drawers, driftwood bench, and wall-hanging space.

Bedroom 4

Also located on the second floor, this bright and spacious room provides a super king size zip-and-link bed (can be made as twins upon request), free-standing wardrobe, separate chest of drawers, relaxed seating, and a full length mirror.

Bathroom

The contemporary family bathroom is set between bedrooms 3 and 4 on the second floor and is equipped with a bath with hand-held shower attachment and integrated TV, a separate walk-in rainfall shower with additional power shower, wash hand basin, WC and a heated towel rail.

Bedroom 5

Accessed up a separate staircase from the utility room and set above the garage, this elegant bedroom offers peace, quiet and privacy. Furnished with a king size bed, free-standing chest of drawers, and a full-length mirror. This room also has an en suite with a walk-in double shower, light up mirror, wash hand basin, WC and a heated towel rail.

Please note that the zip and link beds are not made as twins as standard.

There is also a separate ground floor WC.

What a lovely house, the whole family enjoyed themselves, the location was great, Number29 and The Hoste are lovely places to visit, all within walking distance too! We have to say that the house was immaculate and the beds were extremely comfy. We have stayed with Barefoot Retreats before and have never been disappointed. Well done!
