Guillemot is a beautifully presented, modern luxury self-catering cottage within walking distance of beautiful Brancaster beach. Guests can look forward to the warmest of Norfolk welcomes at this stylish cottage, which sleeps 6-8 and is well located in this family-friendly village which boasts The Ship hotel, pub and restaurant. A championship Golf Course can be found in the village and sailing facilities are at the neighbouring village of Brancaster Staithe. With the addition of a fabulous games/TV room, Guillemot is ideal for larger families with older children who would relish the opportunity to retreat to their own space!

Combining coastal chic with laid-back luxury and great location, Guillemot is the ideal coastal retreat for friends and family. With underfloor heating downstairs, your toes will be toasty in winter and with sunshine streaming through the French doors during lazy summer days, this house is just perfect for a week or so away or a short break in this beautiful part of North Norfolk.

Outside

The pretty south-facing courtyard garden is perfect for enjoying the salty sea air. With stylish sandstone paving, raised sleeper beds and al fresco dining seating up to 8 guests, the opportunities for relaxation and fun at this cottage are endless.

There is off-street parking behind the property for a car, with additional roadside parking opposite the cottage.

Room Descriptions

Kitchen/Dining Area

As you enter the house you will come into the open plan modern kitchen and dining area.

The contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with an oven and separate grill, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, De'Longhi ground coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and a combined washer/dryer.

The dining area is beautifully furnished and overlooks the rear garden. The dining table comfortably seats six and can be further extended if required. The French doors open out into the garden, perfect in the summer to let in the fresh sea air!

There are also connecting double doors that can be opened to link the kitchen/diner to the lounge to create one large entertaining space.

Lounge

The spacious lounge is the ideal place for the family to relax in style! Furnished with two comfy sofas centred around the electric wood burner and TV.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Each of the three stylish bedrooms are beautifully furnished using a palette inspired by the coastal landscape and are full of light.

Two king size bedrooms are located on the first floor, both of which have plenty of storage facilities. The master bedroom also features an en-suite with double walk-in shower. A spacious and stylish family bathroom (also on the first floor) has a bath with shower over.

On the top floor you’ll find a large bedroom with two double beds, a wall of built-in wardrobes and a separate WC. Equally perfect for a family of four who wish to sleep in the same room or for when the children want to jump in together! Comfy beds and crisp linens will ensure you’ll all enjoy a relaxing night’s sleep.

There is a downstairs cloakroom on the ground floor.

Games Room

The property also offers a TV/games room which is accessed via the rear garden. With plenty of seating, a small bar area and large TV/DVD plus an assortment of games, this space provides additional flexibility to this family-friendly property, perfect when the children want to escape and watch a different TV programme, or you want some time-out maybe! There is a key in the house for the games room which is situated through the door just off the garden path.

Brancaster beach is one of Norfolk’s glorious beaches, with miles of unspoilt golden sand, as far as the eye can see, and also has the added advantage of being incredibly child friendly and dog friendly too. The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club is located in Brancaster with its fine links course and Burnham Market is about 4 miles away with its wide range of interesting shops, boutiques and restaurants. There are plenty of pubs in and around Brancaster, so you'll never be short of somewhere to visit after your day at the beach.
