The Orangery

What a wonderful time we have hade in this amazing property it has everything and oozes quality! We have stayed in many properties with Barefoot and The Orangery is up there with the best. We hope to return when bookings allow!

WOW! We absolutely loved staying at the Orangery, from the moment we arrived it felt like home, the setting where is absolutely beautiful, views of the church is very pretty across the road from the grounds. The detail in every room are just perfect every finishing touch you could ask for and everything you would need is there and more even the lovely shed fitted out with buckets & spades wind break etc. and even a cart to wheel it all to the beach. The beautiful walled garden is so private and relaxing in, the beach at Brancaster is big and plenty of space for everyone which is a lovely walk down, we even saw some seals. We went for a meal at the Orange tree, lovely staff there, also visited Burnham market a beautiful place, you won’t want to leave, which is where Barefoot Retreats have there lovely office and there is also a shop called Barefoot Living with beautiful gifts in. Thankyou to the owners for letting us stay here, will we be back definitely YES!!

A truly fabulous find, great location and really peaceful. Excellent quality furnishings and very well equipped, everything we needed and more! We made the most of the wonderful weather and used the garden furniture more than the sofas, great umbrella for some shade. Would recommend the 'crab hut' at Brancaster Staithe, Holkham to Wells and back is our favorite walk but if you want somewhere quiet then Thornham beach is well worth a visit. We will definitely return to The Orangery.

Lovely accommodation, our favorite Barefoot property by far, spotlessly clean, everything perfect in the kitchen. We had the best week (weather wise as well, relaxing treat for my daughters birthday. Will miss the Brancaster walks everyday.

Our first holiday in this lovely part of England. We have enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back. The accommodation at The Orangery is fantastic, extremely comfortable with every home comfort on hand. Loved everything about Norfolk coast, and had a great few days out as well.

Beautiful place, this is our second time with Barefoot Retreats and we love the service you get, nothing is too much trouble. The area is so lovely and lovely walks around. Burnham Market is lovely to visit, the finish and decor is just stunning. we will be back next year, thank you soooo much for our holiday!

We just wanted to write to say what a lovely week we had at The Orangery last week. The house is absolutely beautiful and very well kept. When we arrived it was so clean which made us all relax immediately, especially in these times. The beds were so comfortable and rooms so quiet, we all slept very well. The quality linens all laundered to perfection. The bathrobes and slippers made it feel like a 5 star hotel. Everything we needed and more was in the well stocked kitchen. And little touches like buckets and spades and the dog washer in the shed were great. Easy parking and the fab private walled garden were a bonus. We loved the beach and pub within 50 yards went down well with our husbands! Our little granddaughter enjoyed the open plan living area with lots of room to run around. All in all a great find on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. We can’t wait to return. Many thanks
