Introduction

Bathed in natural light, with lux interiors and contemporary comforts flowing seamlessly through the open-plan living space and 'boutique' hotel worthy bedrooms. Begin your day with coffee and croissants in the sun-soaked garden, spend the afternoon on the beach and the evening by the roaring log burner, your favourite book or a good film the only plans ahead.

Inside

Step through the spacious hall into a sun-drenched open plan living space made for drawn out supper parties, laughter around the dining table and movie marathons cosied up by the wood burner. There’s four beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, including one ground floor en-suite ready for long lazy starts and drawn out bubble baths after a busy day exploring the North Norfolk coast.

Outside

Throw open the bifold doors and let the outdoors become part of your stay, creating a seamless space for easy holiday living. The fully enclosed garden is made for long summer evenings beneath Norfolk’s vast open skies, with leisurely alfresco suppers, friendly card games and something chilled in hand as the sun begins to dip below the horizon.

From here, some of North Norfolk's best-loved dining spots are within easy walking distance. The Jolly Sailors serves up homemade pizzas and hearty pub classics, while the award-winning White Horse pairs spectacular marshside views with seafood feasts showcasing the very best local produce. You can also wander down to Brancaster Staithe Harbour, home to the iconic Crab Hut, where freshly dressed crab, lobster and other local delicacies can be enjoyed overlooking the boats and winding tidal creeks.

After a day spent exploring the coastline, walking the marshes or building sandcastles on the beach, rinse away sandy toes and salty paws at the outside tap before slipping through the side entrance into the utility room – a thoughtful touch that makes coastal adventures wonderfully effortless.

This property offers roadside parking in a designated lay by to the front of the house.

Staying at
Auckland House

Quick guide to your location

Just steps from Harbour Way, Auckland House offers guests effortless access to the coastal path, the bustling harbour with its fleet of sailing boats, and the beautiful beaches of Brancaster and Burnham Overy Staithe to the east and west.

The Brancasters are a must-visit destination on the North Norfolk coast, offering something for everyone. Both villages sit along the historic A149 coast road and are easily explored on foot via scenic pathways linking them together. Local dining highlights include freshly caught seafood from Brancaster Staithe harbour - from mussels and oysters to the unique Norfolk samphire, a local delicacy richer in iron than spinach. The White Horse and The Jolly Sailors are just short stroll away, while The Ship lies a leisurely thirty-minute walk to the west.

Golf enthusiasts will relish the challenge of the Royal West Norfolk, one of the UK’s most renowned links courses. Nature lovers will enjoy the adjacent beach, home to seals, waders, skylarks, and other coastal wildlife. For those keen to explore the surrounding creeks and sea, boat and canoe hire is available at the harbour, or beginners can take sailing lessons with local experts to get started.
