West Barn 35B is a little escape with a big personality. Tucked away in North Creake, its colourful interiors, playful details and carefully collected pieces create a space that feels wonderfully individual. Cosy without feeling conventional, it’s a place to forget the everyday for a while and enjoy having some of North Norfolk’s best bits waiting just beyond the door.

Inside

Settle in and let the holiday unfold. On cooler days, light the log burner and sink into the sofa after a windswept walk on the beach; when the sun is shining, open the doors and let the warmth spill inside.

There’s no shortage of ways to fill your days. Follow the country lanes to Burnham Market, make for the wide-open sands of Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea, stop somewhere lovely for lunch, then come home to your own corner of the Norfolk countryside.

For friends travelling together, neighbouring West Barn 35A can also be booked, giving four guests the perfect balance of togetherness and their own space.

Outside

The enclosed garden is a private spot for making the most of warmer days. Stretch out with a book, bring lunch into the sunshine or fire up the barbecue and stay outside until the evening air finally sends you in.

Off-road parking is provided at the front of the property.

West Barn is very well-equipped throughout with modern integrated kitchen that flows into the open plan dining and lounge spaces. Furthermore, by opening the bi-fold doors you can open up the rear of the house to allow the outside in, a fantastic feature in the summer.

Bedroom and Bathroom

On the first floor, West Barn B has one master bedroom with super king bed, beautifully staged with luxury furnishings. The bedroom has been decorated in a timelessly classical style and you can feel yourself unwind from the moment that you enter.

Directly adjacent is the en suite bathroom where you will find a huge free-standing bath and separate walk-in shower.

Quick guide to your location

With the River Burn winding through its heart, South Creake is a beautiful North Norfolk village of flint cottages, open countryside and quiet lanes just waiting to be explored. There’s a real away-from-it-all feel here, but with Burnham Market, Fakenham and the North Norfolk coast close by, you’re brilliantly placed for exploring.

At the heart of the village, The Ostrich Inn is an inviting spot for drinks, dinner or Sunday lunch, while nearby Creake Abbey is worth a visit for its independent shops, café and much-loved farmers’ market. A little further inland, Barsham Brewery is well worth seeking out. As well as brewing beer using locally grown Norfolk barley, the brewery hosts events throughout the year, bringing together street food, live music and, naturally, a pint or two of the good stuff.

For everything else, Fakenham is handy for supermarkets, shops and everyday essentials, while Burnham Market takes care of boutiques, delis, galleries and long lunches. And when only the beach will do, the sweeping sands of Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are an easy drive away. Beautifully positioned between rural Norfolk and the coast, South Creake is the sort of place where muddy boots by the door and sand in the car are all part of the holiday.
